HotelBrain: Turnover increases to €72.8 mil. in 2015

Greek hotel management company HotelBrain held the company’s 2016 Annual Meeting in the 11th HORECA, on Saturday 13 February at the Metropolitan Expo Exhibition Centre.

This year, Hotelbrain’s annual meeting attracted more than 500 representatives of the Greek hotel industry, including hotel owners, tourism professionals and other key players of the tourism market in Greece.

It also welcomed Mr. Eulogio Bordas, Owner / President of THR (one of the world-leading consultancy firms, specializing in the tourism industry) and former President of UNWTO Affiliate Members. 

The program of the meeting included the 2015 assessment – statistics & figures of all HotelBrain’s departments, as well as a presentation of the company’s 2016 plans.

Overall performance

The company presented official statistics in regards to the 2015 overall performance of the hotels it manages (over 130 hotels in 49 destinations) and the assessment of the previous year’s progress in all of HotelBrain’s departments (sales, online marketing, HR, training, quality control, PR & Communication, etc.).

According to data provided by the company’s sales department, the total systemic turnover of hotels managed by HotelBrain, to 2015 reached euro 72.8 million over 51 4 million euro in 2014. A similar increase was observed in the 2015 Average Room Rate (ADRs) which reached 210.34 euro (181.36 euro in 2014), while the occupancy was almost identical to last year’s level (72%).

HotelBrain claimed the title of Europe’s Leading Hotel Management Company at the 22nd World Travel Awards held in 2015.
