Hospitality enterprises’ turnover grew 28.6% in the first quarter of 2023, totaling 375,267,348 euros from 291,894,609 euros in the corresponding period last year, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Tuesday, ANA reports.
Enterprises situated in the Thessaloniki region recorded the biggest percentage increase (70.9%), while the smallest increase was recorded in the island of Cos.
Enterprises in the restaurant business reported a 27% hike in turnover in the January-March period totaling 1,525,622,347 euros, from 1,201,667,877 euros in the same period in 2022.
