Electra Hotels & Resorts Receives Gold Award at CRI 2024 – 2025

With the Gold Award in the CR Index 2024–2025 Corporate Responsibility Index and the Special Mention in the “Employees” Category, the Electra Hotels & Resorts Group was honored, confirming its long-standing commitment to sustainable development and responsible entrepreneurship.

This year’s award takes on particular significance, as it coincides with the 60th anniversary of the founding of the first Electra hotel – a six-decade journey in Greek tourism, with people, society, and the environment as a constant priority.

The award ceremony was held during an official ceremony, where the award was received on behalf of the Group by Natassa Moraitidou, Group Quality & Sustainability Director, who emphasized the importance of the distinction, especially as it marks the Group’s first participation in the CR Index evaluation process.

“This distinction is a great recognition — not only of the effort behind this demanding process, but also of our timeless, quiet and consistent contribution to society, the environment and our people for over 60 years,” she said.

The CR Index is an internationally recognized Corporate Responsibility evaluation index, based on ESG (Environment, Society, Corporate Governance) principles. The Gold Distinction and the Special Mention highlight the Group’s people-centric character and consistent strategy in matters of sustainability and responsible operation.

The Electra Hotels & Resorts Group continues to consistently invest in actions that create a positive and lasting impact, with respect for people, society, and the environment.
