The Municipality of Megisti approved the technical description for the architectural surveying of the municipal property “Megisti Hotel.”
The Municipality needs to carry out the related work for the architectural surveying of the municipal property “Megisti Hotel” in order for it to be put up for tender. The hotel covers 1,363.83 square meters and is situated on a plot of 4,290 square meters.
According to the Municipality, the surveying will cover the above property along with the surrounding area at the floor plan level. Additionally, there will be a check for the existence or not of unauthorized constructions and their measurement if any are found. The budget for this service amounts to up to 4,960 euros including VAT, for which sufficient available credit exists in the Municipality’s budget. The procedure is expected to be a direct assignment by decision of the Mayor. The services will be completed by August 28, 2025, and will be supervised by the legally responsible committee.
Meanwhile, the Municipality of Sifnos has assigned the company Lykogiannis Christos – Combined Auxiliary Services in Buildings & Outdoor Areas to provide the services of the responsible operator of the municipal heliport of Sifnos during both the tourist season and the winter months.
The service includes the following:
Inspection, maintenance, and smooth operation of the heliport facilities,
Supervision and proper execution of the duties of the signalman and fireman at the heliport,
Care for the proper functioning of the heliport’s firefighting equipment,
Ensuring the correct and safe operation of the heliport regarding helicopter takeoffs and landings,
Informing the Municipality and the Civil Aviation Authority about any issue that may affect the published characteristics or operation of the heliport,
Keeping a printed daily movement log of the heliport, which will be submitted weekly to the Municipality’s Financial Service, as well as a printed inspection logbook, which will be sent quarterly to the Civil Aviation Authority for monitoring the heliport’s condition,
Ensuring smooth operation of the heliport during patient air transfers (with 24-hour readiness throughout the contract duration),
Strict adherence to all provisions in the heliport operation manual,
Compliance with any instructions given by the Civil Aviation Authority for the safe operation of the municipal heliport.
The total cost for the above services will amount to 9,548 euros including VAT.
