Steady growth and renovation plans for the family group’s three hotels in Attica
The Mousamas Hotel Group, one of the most recognizable players in the Greek tourism sector, closed the 2024 fiscal year with an increase in turnover, confirming the steady upward trend that characterizes its history.
The company “ANTONIS A. MOUSAMAS S.A.”, which was founded in 1970 by the Mousamas family, serves more than 155,000 customers annually with 100,886 overnight stays at the ATHENS CROWNE PLAZA hotels on Michalakopoulou Street and the neighboring HOLIDAY SUITES, as well as at the ATHENS HOLIDAY INN near the airport.
As stated in the financial report for the fiscal year 2024, in its continuous effort to develop and offer increasingly upgraded and quality services to its customers, the company will proceed with the renovation of its hotel units on a two-year plan.

Increased turnover
The fiscal year 2024 closed with a turnover of 17,655,090.22 euros, marking an increase of 6.56% compared to 2023, where a turnover of 16,568,382.38 euros was recorded. The revenue breakdown by hotel shows a strong and balanced performance:
- CROWNE PLAZA: €8,292,576.06 (from €7,955,566.00)
- HOLIDAY INN: €8,326,174.10 (from €7,627,408.00)
- HOLIDAY SUITES: €1,035,490.06 (from €980,198.00)
- Other revenue: €850.00 (from €5,210.38)
The steady growth in the Group’s two major hotels, CROWNE PLAZA and HOLIDAY INN, highlights the strong demand from business and leisure travelers, while the small increase in HOLIDAY SUITES shows that there is room for further growth in the small but targeted unit.
Financial situation
Despite the challenges left by the pandemic, the Group’s financial situation remains satisfactory. Loan obligations to banks amount to 1,500,000 euros, with a scheduled repayment within 2025, while tangible assets are recorded at 8,804,952.16 euros from 9,475,440.35 euros in 2023. Current assets amount to 7,086,215.45 euros, from 8,978,611.43 euros in the previous year, reflecting capital management and investment readjustment in a period of market stabilization.
Business model and values
The company has built its reputation on a model that combines high-quality hospitality services with safety and reliability for the modern traveler. The continuous investment in human resources, with experienced executives and continuous training, makes Mousamas Group a reference point for Greek tourism, both nationally and internationally. A member of SETE, the Attica Hotel Association and the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, the company confirms its commitment to adhering to the best practices of the industry.
