Radisson: New resort in Evia and 5 new units by 2026

Greece remains at the center of Radisson Hotel Group’s investment interest, with the group launching a new resort in Evia and five more hotel units expected to be operational by 2026. The announcement was made by Elie Milky (photo), Development Director for Greece, Cyprus, the Middle East and North Africa at Radisson Hotel Group, speaking from the podium of Prodexpo 2025, which concludes today at the Athens Conservatory.

As he mentioned, the final signatures for the new hotel in Evia were signed just yesterday, confirming the group’s strategic decision to strengthen its presence in the Greek region, beyond the established urban destinations. Without revealing further details, Mr. Milky noted that this is a project that will substantially contribute to the tourist upgrade of the region.

At this point, it should be emphasized that, as he himself stated, by 2026 the group will have ten hotels in operation in Greece, compared to five today. The new openings include units in Paros, Evia, Peloponnese and two in Athens, further strengthening the brand’s geographical spread in the country.

Mr. Milky pointed out that Greece is now among the most dynamically developing markets of the Radisson Hotel Group in the Mediterranean region, thanks to stable tourist demand, improved infrastructure and the upgraded investment environment. The group’s strategy focuses, as he said, on the development of resort and lifestyle hospitality units, which respond to the demand for authentic experiences and quality holiday infrastructure.

In any case, Radisson seems to be confirming its role as a major international “player” on the Greek hotel map, contributing to the upgrading of the tourism product and strengthening the image of Greece as a mature destination for hospitality investments.

It is worth noting that Radisson currently manages more than 1,300 hotels internationally, while in Greece it already has a presence in Athens, Mykonos, Crete, Santorini and Thessaloniki, making the country one of the group’s strategic markets for the coming years.
