Fodor’s Travel, one of the most recognized names in travel recommendations for 85 years, has unveiled its new Fodor’s Finest Hotels 2026 list, which highlights the 100 most impressive and inspiring hotels worldwide.
The annual list, compiled by Fodor’s editors in collaboration with hundreds of hospitality experts, does not include sponsorships or commercial partnerships, thus maintaining the independent and authentic nature of the selections.
Unlike other lists that focus exclusively on luxury accommodations, Fodor’s Finest emphasizes diversity, presenting hotels in all price ranges — from affordable to ultra-luxury. The selection criteria are design, quality of service and the overall experience they offer to travelers.
This year’s list features 19 hotels in the United States and two in Canada. Among them, the Parisian-style Fouquet’s in New York, the fairytale Bolt Tree Farmhouse in Tennessee and three hotels in New Orleans: The Columns, Hotel Saint Vincent and Maison M?tier.
Five North American hotels maintain their position for the second consecutive year, confirming their continued supremacy in a highly competitive hospitality market. Among them are the Global Ambassador in Phoenix, the Ramble in Denver and ULUM Moab in Utah, which elevates the glamping experience to new levels of luxury.
