Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens among the 50 best hotels in the world

The Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens is the only hotel from Greece and one of the few European hotels to be ranked in The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2025.

The Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens is ranked 17th on the list, with Rosewood in Hong Kong in first place. Overall, Asia is the continent with the most hotels on this list, with 20 (up from 15 last year).

This distinction is a shining moment for one of Greece’s most iconic luxury hotels, once again ranked among the world’s top hotels, following its first appearance on the inaugural 2023 list.

The World’s 50 Best Hotels list features hotels that set the standard for global hospitality across six continents, and was presented at a glittering ceremony at Old Billingsgate in London. It is a collection of exceptional hospitality experiences from around the world, as voted for by 800 anonymous experts, including hoteliers, travel journalists, educators and seasoned travelers.
