Wyndham Rewards, the most generous hotel loyalty program, has announced a partnership with renowned actress Beverly D’Angelo, known for her role as Ellen Griswold in the classic film National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, to offer its members a complimentary upgrade one membership level for a limited time, accompanied by additional benefits.
The initiative is part of the program’s holiday activities and concerns all Wyndham Rewards members worldwide. Until December 31, travelers can visit WyndhamRewards.com/Upgrade and request the complimentary upgrade, gaining access to benefits that increase depending on the membership level, such as early check-in, late checkout, preferred rooms and a suite upgrade.
The offer runs until the end of the year and, according to the program, allows members to take advantage of additional amenities on their holiday travels.
Existing Diamond members can sign up to receive 5x points on all eligible stays completed by December 31st, as part of the program’s biggest promotion of the year. Learn more about the program here.

Tier Upgrade for All Members
The Wyndham Rewards program has four membership tiers, Blue, Gold, Platinum and Diamond, with each tier providing additional benefits to its members. With this upgrade, every member earns at least Gold status for the holiday season, making it even easier to access additional benefits on future stays.
Details:
- Blue: Activated at sign-up and includes a guaranteed 1,000 points on every eligible stay, free Wi-Fi and rollover nights.
- Gold: After 5 eligible nights, members enjoy a preferred room, late checkout, dedicated service line and 10% more points per stay.
- Platinum: After 15 eligible nights, members enjoy all Gold benefits, plus early check-in, complimentary car upgrades at Avis and Budget (US and Canada), and 15% more points.
- Diamond: After 40 eligible nights, all Platinum benefits, plus a suite upgrade, special welcome at check-in (where available), and 20% more points.

The holiday upgrade is available to all Blue, Gold and Platinum members globally. Those who are not yet members can register for free at WyndhamRewards.com and activate the upgrade.
Once the upgrade is activated, Blue members are automatically upgraded to Gold, Gold members to Platinum and Platinum members to Diamond.
Benefits are effective immediately upon activation and cover stays completed by December 31.
