The Municipal Committee of the Municipality of Chalandri approved the conduct of an open electronic tender for accommodation services of KAPI members in a hotel for the year 2026, with a total budget of 120,000 euros including VAT.
The program will be implemented in 3 periods of 6 overnight stays and is organized by the KAPI Department, with financial participation from the members according to their financial capacity, while the remaining amount corresponding to the cost of the program will be covered by the Municipality of Chalandri.
Specifically, this procedure concerns the service of accommodating KAPI members in a 4-star hotel in the Municipality of Nafplio, as well as their transport to the hotel, using private public-use vehicles with a driver.
The award criterion of the tender is the most economically advantageous offer based on price (lowest price).
The accommodation of KAPI members, which will take place in 3 periods of 6 overnight stays, must be continuous. On the day the first group departs, the second group will arrive, and on the day the second group departs, the third group will follow. Up to 450 people will be hosted in the three periods until July 15, 2016.
Details:
The hotel must be located within the administrative boundaries of the Municipality of Nafplio in the Regional Unit of Argolis, Peloponnese Region. It must be a 4-star hotel and able to accommodate the members in double rooms (triple rooms only if chosen by the members), equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, television, and balcony.
Furthermore, the hotel must have the infrastructure and all necessary permits to provide half-board (breakfast and lunch) and licenses for operating a cafeteria or restaurant.
Additionally, it must have an organized beach with umbrellas and sunbeds for free use by KAPI members, and a lifeguard for the hotel pool. For the beach, applicable regulations of the local municipal authorities will apply.
Access to the sea must be direct, easy, and safe, without large stones or other natural obstacles, gradually deepening, and at a distance of approximately 5070 meters from the hotel, as visual, balance, walking, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular changes occur in the elderly, increasing the risk of falls and injuries.
In this context, the hotel must be near a staffed Regional Clinic or Medical Center (within 15 km) or a Hospital (within 30 km) for handling any medical cases that may arise.
It is noted that the hotel must have a certificate from the relevant Chamber of Commerce, professional organization, or EOT in order to register for the tender.
Members will have the right to use the organized beach (umbrellas, sunbeds, etc.) as well as sports and recreational equipment (board games and others) free of charge.
Furthermore, a 15% discount must apply to members at the food and beverage sections within the hotel, and a music evening must be organized before the departure of the groups.
Transport of members to and from the hotel will be provided by private public-use vehicles (50-seat buses) with a driver, departing from a) Central KAPI b) KAPI Kato Chalandri c) KAPI Toufa, and returning to the same respective points.
The Climate Resilience Fee, as applicable, will be borne by the residents and paid directly to the accommodation.
