The Municipality of Zagora-Mouresi announced an open ascending auction for the lease of municipal camping facilities at the location Pap? Ner? of the Municipal Community of Mouresi, in Pelion.
According to the announcement, the auction will take place on January 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the municipal building of the Municipality of Zagora-Mouresi in Tsagkarada, before the Committee on Auctions, which has been established according to a decision of the Municipal Committee for the selection of the highest bidding lessee for the lease of the camping site.
The property is located outside the boundaries of the settlement Pap? Ner? and is suitable for building, according to applicable regulations, approximately 20 m from the sea and within a Natura 2000 area, outside areas designated for urban development. No high-voltage power lines or natural gas lines pass through it, and it is not located in a habitat, public building, or archaeological site.
During the operation of the property, the lessee is obliged, at their own expense and initiative, to secure and maintain all necessary permits for the use of the space (urban planning, health, special operation license, etc.), as well as any permits related to its use. The Municipality of Zagora-Mouresi bears no responsibility if the lessee fails to obtain the required permits, as these are solely the responsibility of the lessee and how they intend to develop their business.
The lessee is also obliged, at their sole expense, to immediately repair any damage that occurs during the lease, even damage not caused by normal use, and to ensure proper and continuous maintenance of the property, facilities, and equipment, while the lessor, the Municipality of Zagora-Mouresi, has no related obligation.
The lessee is required to operate the property as at least a 4-star camping site. If for this category (or any higher category the lessee chooses) new buildings or other permanent structures are required, in addition to those already existing on the property for which a building permit is needed, the Municipality of Zagora-Mouresi will be obliged to grant special authorization to the lessee and provide any necessary assistance.
The minimum annual rent for the first bid in the auction is set at 69,000 euros. The lease will last 20 years with the possibility of extension by a decision of the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Zagora-Mouresi for 5 years after the contractual period, provided that all contractual obligations of the lessee are fully met. The first year of the lease is considered to be 2026, regardless of the exact time the lessee will occupy the property. The extension will be granted upon a written request from the lessee, which must be submitted at least six months before the contractual end of the lease.
