The management of the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce has set itself the goal of conquering new tourism markets, strengthening its participation in actions that allow its members to expand their business partnerships.
On 23/10 and 30/10, it took part in the “B2B Greek Tourism Workshops” held in Copenhagen and The Hague, in which 39 Dutch and 46 Danish tour operators participated, respectively.
The Heraklion Chamber of Commerce mission was attended by representatives of four tourism businesses in Heraklion, who had the opportunity to speak directly with foreign businessmen, confirming the growing interest in partnerships with our country and Crete in particular.

At the same time, the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce provided interested parties with information material from other member tourism enterprises, which were not able to participate in person.
The “B2B Greek Tourism Workshops” were held under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Rural Development and Food and the Embassies of Greece in Copenhagen and The Hague.
“We are seeing a strong interest in collaborations with tourism entrepreneurs in Crete and we are trying to take advantage of every opportunity to help our members reach targeted markets,” noted the President of the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Vangelis Karkanakis.
From the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce, the Head of G.E.M.H. and Business Services, Mr. Stavros Stefanakis, the Head of Business Advisory Support, Ms. Artemis Mavraki, and the Head of the Business Support Office, Ms. Lena Stefanoudaki, participated in the mission.
