Sani and Ikos hotel companies merge with Goldman Sachs-Hermes funds participation

Sani SA and Ikos SA companies announced that their merger into one Group has been completed.

Major shareholders are Stavros and Andrew A. Andreadis and investment funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, LP, while the new scheme  also involves funds managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Hermes GPE as well as international private equity firms.

The new Group will be managed by Stavros A. Andreadis as President and Andrew A. Andreadis and Mathieu Guillemin as Managing Directors.

Independent brand development

It will rely on the excellent level of staffing and expertise of Sani SA in creating and operating luxury hotels to further develop the recognized Sani and the innovative and evolving Ikos brands independently.

Sani and Ikos plan major investments in Greece with a five years horizon aiming to contribute as well  to strengthening local economies, creating new jobs and upgrading the Greek tourism product, in general.

Within this context of strengthening the two brands, extensions and upgrades are already being implemented to the Sani Asterias, Sani Club, Sani Marina, Ikos Oceania and Ikos Olivia units.
