Landis+Gyr decides to move its Swiss factory to Corinth area in Greece

The Landis+Gyr multinational corporation has announced that it will transfer the construction of its industrial and commercial metering devices from its factory in Zug, Switzerland to Corinth, Greece.

At present, the Corinth factory employs more than 500 people, with sales amounting to about 90 million euros on annual basis. The factory is considered to be one of the largest and most advanced in the production of metering devices world-wide, with products being exported to 80 countries.

This development also entails that many new jobs will be created in the multinational corporation’s Greek subsidiary. According to the managing consultant of the Greek subsidiary, Dimitrios Avrabos, the move reflects and is in recognition of the hard work and high standards at the Corinth facility.
