The Deputy Vice President of SOCAR Vitaliy Baylarbayov has reportedly been in Athens for the past few days in an effort to reach an agreement for the national gas transmission system operator (DESFA).
According to a report in Ta Nea, the legal teams of the Azeri and Italian (SNAM) investors are in communication with the Greek side. The Azeri side claims that recent initiatives by the Energy Ministry mean that DESFA’s assets have a maximum value of 300 million euros.
