Nine actions for infrastructure and SME financing agreements with intermediaries which should lead to total investments amounting to 2.36 billion euros for Greece have been approved by the European Investment Bank, through the Juncker package.
In particular, according to the Commission, the European Investment Bank has approved six projects in Greece, which already have received a funding of 824 million euros in the framework of the European Strategic Investment Fund and should lead to investments of 1.9 billion euros.
In addition, the EIF has approved three small business financing agreements amounting to 73 million euros under the European Strategic Investment Fund, which should lead to investments of 462 million euros. About 1400 businesses in Greece are expected to be benefited from these agreements.
