More than 7 billion euro will be channeled into real economy in 2017, both from Community resources and from the Public Investment Program, stressed Deputy Development Minister Alexis Charitsis in an interview with the Sunday edition of “Kontranews” newspaper.
Mr. Charitsis stated that this year is the most crucial for absorbing NSRF (National Strategic Reference Framework) resources, as more than 56.5% of the programs has already been activated. The Minister also announced that with respect to the programs strengthening self-employment and upgrading small and very small businesses, the implementation of the second phase will start next month; in addition, there will be an invitation to support establishment of new tourist units and the expansion of existing ones.
