The Greek government has not received any specific investment proposals for the shipyards of Elefsina and Syros, Deputy Economy Minister Stergios Pitsiorlas said on Friday in a meeting with representatives of Syros’ factory shipyards association.
According to a ministry statement, Pitsiorlas, after listening to their problems and concerns about the future of the shipyards, explain the government’s efforts to find a viable solution for the shipyards in Elefsina and Syros. He also clarified that the government will soon be able to inform the union about the initiatives it is planning to take.
