The interest of American investors in Greece was discussed in a meeting between Economy Minister Dimitri Papadimitriou and the U.S. Ambassador to Greece, Geoffrey Pyatt, on Thursday.
During the meeting, the two sides focused on the actions already taken to attract investment and prepared the following steps on the side of the ministry and the embassy. Papadimitriou reiterated that Greece is a friendly destination for investment plans and that the government is working to facilitate direct foreign investment.
The minister is expected to travel to the United States in October.
