The Agricultural University of Athens (AUA) discussed the application of innovative ideas with Chinese startups during the International Human Resources Exchanges and Cooperation Conference held in Hangzhou, China.
The university was represented by deputy rector, professor Maria Kapsokefalou, responsible for academic collaborations. She was invited to China by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of China (SAFEA) and Hangzhou Municipal Government, who held the conference.
The AUA has several ongoing collaboration projects with Chinese universities and research centers, and has co-operated with the Chinese ministry of Agriculture and the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of China.
Institutions with which it shares projects, technical know-how or protocols of deals include the following: China Agricultural University, Jiangnan University, Northwest A&F University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhengzhou Fruit Research Institute, Sichuan Academy of Forestry and Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the Beijing Research Center For Information Technology In Agriculture/National Engineering Research Center For Information Technology In Agriculture (Nercita).
