The number of Greek enterprises taking part in international trade fairs through national pavilions organised by Enterprise Greece grew 50 pct in 2017 compared with the previous year, the organisation said in a report released on Friday, according to ANA.
Christos Staikos, head of Enterprise Greece noted that the organisation included new sectors in its programme (yachts, maritime equipment, new technologies and jewelry) and expanded its activities in markets in southeastern Asia and North and Eastern Africa (Morocco, Egypt, Kenya, etc), while it boosted the presence of Greek products in traditional export destinations.
An inter-ministerial commission okeyed two new strategic investments in the sectors of tourism and telecommunications, worth 182 million euros, following recommendations by Enterprise Greece, while the organisation won the organising of Mediterranean Resort & Hotel Real Estate Forum in Athens, one of the top events in the sector.
