6-7 billion euro funds to be channeled to Greek island of Crete

A total of 6-7 billion euro funds are expected to be channelled to Crete in the next seven years and will concern the sectors of energy, tourism, the primary sector, focusing on the overall development of the island, social cohesion and solidarity, regional governor of Crete, Stavros Arnaoutakis, said during the presentation of the annual report of the Region of Crete for 2017, ANA reports.

“We will not allow any opportunity to be lost. We remain committed to taking advantage of Crete’s prospects and development potential,” Arnaoutakis noted.
