Two consortia have presented state privatisation agency HRADF improved offers for a 66% stake in DESFA, the Greek gas transmission operator, unnamed sources said to Athens News Agency on Wednesday.
The bids are likely to be announced during HRADF’s Friday meeting with earlier announcements by the Environment and Energy Ministry placing the sale price over 400 million euros and other sources raising it as high as 480 million euros.
The first bidding consortium consists of the three basic partners of the TAP pipeline – Snam (Italy), Fluxys (Belgium) and Enagas (Spain) – while the second consortium consists of Reganosa (Spain), Transgaz (Romania) as well as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
