The 7th Hellenic Investment Forum in New York, held June 19-20, was successfully completed as part of the Greek Investment Roadshow in the USA, said the Athens Stock Exchange on Thursday, ANA reports.
“From the previous investment forum until today, total liquidity has improved by some 20 percent with a big participation from the non banking sector that saw an increase of 40 percent. Our mid cap companies saw a rise in terms of prices and trading activity. Net profits of listed companies rose to the order of 33 percent while the participation of foreign institutional investors remained high at 65 percent,” noted Socrates Lazaridis, Chief Executive Officer of Hellenic Exchanges-Athens Stock Exchange, in a statement.
