Greek Economy Minister talks investments in tourism with French firms

Deputy Economy and Development Minister Stergios Pitsiorlas met with representatives from more than 15 French groups during his three-day visit to France, aiming at strengthening the economic and investment relations between the two countries, ANA reports.

The deputy minister informed the firms’ administrations about the positive course of the Greek economy and the new era for Greece after August. In addition, they discussed the progress of the privatisation programme and government planning for the development of the rest of the country’s infrastructure, as well as the prospects for partnerships with neighbouring countries and the rising role of Greece as a trading hub in international trade flows between Europe, Asia and Africa.
