Minister: Energy investments to reach €32 billion in Greece by 2030

A project for an electricity interconnection between Crete and Peloponnese is about to commence, with the interconnection between Crete and the central power grid expected to be completed in 2023, Environment and Energy Minister George Stathakis said on Monday, according to ANA.

Addressing a conference organised by the Technical Chamber of Greece, Stathakis added that energy investments in the country were expected to reach 32 billion euros by 2030. He said that the country completed a period of deep reforms and noted that country was progressing in achieving its goals on Climate Change in the framework of the European Framework for 2030.
