Greek Court of Audit greenlights Athens Airport concession extension by 20 years

Greece’s Court of Audit has reportedly approved of a contract to extend the concession for the Athens International Airport by 20 years, naftemporiki.gr reports.

The concession extension, submitted to the country’s privatization fund, reaches 1.383 billion euros, with the net sum to flow into the latter’s coffers at 1.115 billion euros.

The current concession expired in 2026.
