Omnibus development draft bill approved by Greek Parliament with 165 votes

The government’s omnibus development draft bill passed in principle in the Greek parliament late on Thursday night, supported by ruling New Democracy’s and Greek Solution’s combined 165 votes in a total of 287 MPs voting, ANA reports.

Main opposition SYRIZA, KINAL, the Communist Party and MeRA25 voted against it as a whole. SYRIZA requested a roll-call vote on each article as well as on a ministerial amendment relating to local government.
