The government’s omnibus development draft bill passed in principle in the Greek parliament late on Thursday night, supported by ruling New Democracy’s and Greek Solution’s combined 165 votes in a total of 287 MPs voting, ANA reports.
Main opposition SYRIZA, KINAL, the Communist Party and MeRA25 voted against it as a whole. SYRIZA requested a roll-call vote on each article as well as on a ministerial amendment relating to local government.
