The government and the Prime Minister in particular “consider extroversion a lever for economic and social growth in the country,” stated Deputy Foreign Minister Constantinos Fragogiannis, responsible for economic diplomacy, at an event for ambassadors held at the Foreign Ministry on Friday, according to ANA.
He pointed out that “the decision for the incorporation of all the structures and extroversion agencies distributed in the Greek government administration under the Foreign Ministry umbrella serves a very simple and very important goal: to create a strong hub that will promote and propel the Greek economy” through Greek representative offices abroad.
Focusing on the investments sector, he highlighted the critical role of the network of Economic and Commerce Affairs liaisons as well as of Enterprise Greece, the country’s export promotion agency. They provide, he said, the first contact of a foreign investor with the Greek market.
