Government spokesperson Stelios Petsas outlined the Greek side’s targets from the meeting between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and U.S. President Donald Trump in an interview with public broadcaster ERT on Tuesday, pointing out the U.S. change of stance in Greek-Turkish issues, ANA reports.
Petsas stressed that the meeting with Trump is expected to deliver the following: firstly, Greece wants to prove at this meeting that it is a stable and reliable partner for the U.S. in the region. Secondly, Greece wants to show that after 10 years of crisis, it is stronger and ready to attract investments, including U.S. investments, finally putting the dark days behind it and looking confidently to the future.
