President of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, met on Monday morning with the President of the European Investment Bank, Werner Hoyer, in Nicosia, and discussed with him a series of projects the government intends to launch, seeking the bank’s support, CNA reports.
From his side, Hoyer appeared certain that the very close collaboration between Cyrus and the EIB can be further enhanced and strengthened.
Speaking after the meeting, at the Presidential Palace, Deputy Government Spokesman Panayiotis Sentonas pointed out that Cyprus and the EIB are cooperating for the last 39 years, with the value of loans estimated at 4 billion euros.
