Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias on Wednesday spoke on the phone with his UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to ANA. The two top officials discussed bilateral issues and developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Greek foreign ministry posted on Twitter.
The UAE recently expressed a strong intention to promote Greece as the strongest tourist destination in the Eastern Mediterranean region. At the same time, state investment companies expressed a strong interest in investments in Greece in the agrifood sector, tourism and real estate.
