The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) on Friday announced that four interested parties have submitted offers for the exploitation of part of the former US military base of Gournes in Heraklion, Crete, according to ANA.
In particular, offers were submitted by the following interested parties (in alphabetical order):
1. CLUB HOTEL CASINO LOUTRAKI S.A. – LYKTOS HOLDING S.A.
2. DIMAND S.A.
3. REDS S.A.
4. VIVION INVESTMENTS S.? r.l.
The real estate property of Gournes consists of a beachfront land plot of 345,567 sqm (34.5 hectares) located 13km from the international airport “Nikos Kazantzakis” and 16 km from Heraklion. Neighbouring land plots to the property have been developed the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research, the Cretaquarium Thalassocosmos, the International Exhibition and Conference Centre of Crete, etc.
