Attico Metro SA and the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed an agreement on Monday for the disbursement of the second part of a loan for the construction of a new line of the Athens metro, ANA reports.
The 30-year loan of 580 million euros will fund the first section of the new Line 4, running from Alsos Veikou to the Goudi sections of Athens. It is the second installment of a total of 730 million euros for the project. The first part (150 mln euros) was disbursed on November 30, 2021, following a loan agreement signed in 2019.
