Minister: National Strategic Extroversion Plan brings growth in Greece

Τhe National Strategic Extroversion Plan was unveiled by the foreign ministry and Enterprise Greece on Thursday. The plan featured specific goals for every geographic region of the world and every field of business activity, with specific timetables for measurable results, ANA reports.
The plan foresees 669 actions worldwide – in the Western Balkans, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, North, Central, and South America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania – in areas such as bilateral and multilateral relations, exports, attracting investments, and developmental cooperation.
It was presented by Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Openness Kostas Fragogiannis, and the secretary-general and president of Enterprise Greece, Ioannis Smyrlis.
“The plan is national,” Fragogiannis underlined because, as he said, “Extroversion concerns us all, the entire country, all the productive forces, and its good results are reflected in the improvement of Greek peoples’ lives. The increased extroversion brings growth and this, obviously touches upon everyone, whether directly and indirectly.”
Referring to the results in 2021, he described them as “spectacular”, citing ELSTAT figures showing that exports had increased by 29.5 percent in 2021.
