The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) announced on Friday that it is opening a tendering process for the “Beach and Camping of Possidi of Kalandra” on the Kassandra peninsula in northern Greece, ANA reports.
The property concerns 12.9 hectares (129 stremmas), which includes a 620-meter front on a popular beach, camping facilities and infrastructure (88,421.84 square meters), as well as a property that borders Zone B of the archaeological site of the Sanctuary of Poseidon (40,604.43 sqm).
Lying fairly close to holiday villages (2.6 km from Possidi, 5 km from Kalandra, and 10 km from Skala Fourkas), the site is also near several hotels and resorts (Possidi Holidays Resort Suites Hotel, Hotel Acropolis, Hotel Thea, Mendi Hotel, et al.). The oldest sanctuary of Poseidon is a regional landmark, as is the camping site of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Kalandra, operating since 1960.
The property is suitable for holiday homes, top-class hotels, and leisure facilities, while the concession of specific rights has a 99-year duration. The tendering process will include two phases (preselection Phase I and submission of binding offers Phase II).
Details are available on HRADF’s English web page https://hradf.com/en/home/ under the “Procurement and Invitations” tab.
