Tornos News has recorded and presented the 20 hotel investments that were included in the Development Law in recent days and which are being supported with millions of euros.
The support mainly concerns the creation of new luxury hotels but also the modernization of hotel units in areas such as Crete, Corfu, Rhodes, Ermioni, Kefalonia, South Pelion, Perdika Igoumenitsa, Kalambaka, Sivota, Skiathos, Thessaloniki, etc.
The business plans of the groups that are supported according to decisions of the General Directorate of Development Laws and Foreign Direct Investments of the Ministry of Development are as follows:
1. Support for the investment plan of the company CRETE HOTELS MITSIS COMPANY S.A., which refers to the comprehensive modernization of 150 rooms with 300 beds and the common areas adjacent to them, a 5-star hotel, with a total capacity of 435 rooms with 914 beds, located in the location of Floudia Anissara in the Heraklion Peninsula of Crete, with a total eligible cost of 10 million euros and a total supported cost of 10 million euros.
2. Support for an investment project of the company FILOTHEI S.A., which concerns the creation of a new 4-star hotel, of the type of independent semi-attached suites PYRGOS SUITES, at the Kokkini Hani location in Gouves, Hersonissos, Heraklion, Crete, with a total eligible cost of 2,188,221.22 euros and a total supported cost of 2,160,640.37 euros.
3. Support for an investment plan of the company LOUIS HOTELS, which refers to the comprehensive modernization, with a final capacity of 272 beds and 135 rooms, and upgrade to a 5-star category, of the IONIAN SUN hotel unit located in Listarcheio, in the municipal unit of Meliteion in Corfu, with a total eligible cost of 10.7 million euros and a supported cost of 10.7 million euros.
4. Support for an investment plan of the company MARBELLA S.A., which refers to the establishment of a 5-star category hotel in Boyone, in Perdika, Igoumenitsa, with a total eligible cost of 8.8 million euros and a total supported cost of 8.8 million euros.
5. Support for an investment plan of the company NAKIS HOTELS S.A. concerning the creation of a new 5-star hotel, with a capacity of 21 rooms and 62 beds in Kastraki, Kalambaka, with a total eligible cost of 3.3 million euros and a total subsidized cost of 3.3 million euros.
6. Support for an investment plan of the company CHC TRAVEL SERVICES concerning the creation of a new 5-star hotel unit, with 60 rooms and 120 beds in Panagia Ellinikan, Agios Nikolaos, Crete, with a total eligible cost of 5.6 million euros and a total subsidized cost of 5.6 million euros.
7. Support for an investment plan of the company SPICA S.A., which refers to the creation of a new 4-star hotel unit, with a capacity of 36 rooms and 72 beds, in Kato Drasato, Makrys Toichos, Nea Kydonias, Chania, Crete, with a total eligible cost of 4 million euros and a total supported cost of 4 million euros.
8. Support for an investment plan of the company SISSI BAY VILLAS STUDIOS APARTMENTS SINGLE MEMBER S.A., which concerns the establishment of a 5-star hotel unit, with a capacity of 40 rooms and 95 beds, in Thesi Avysallia or Kremasma, Sisi, Lassithi, Crete, with a total eligible cost of 5.4 million euros and a total supported cost of 5.4 million euros.
9. Support for an investment plan of the company LINDIAN VILLAGE, which refers to the comprehensive modernization of the 5-star Lindian Village hotel, located at Lardos Beach and Koukoumia, Rhodes, with a total eligible cost of 9,355,000 euros and a total subsidized cost of 9,355,000 euros.
10. Support for an investment plan of the company D.T. GLOBAL INVESTMENTS M.I.K.E., which refers to the establishment of a 5-star hotel unit at Kosta Kounoupioti, Ermioni, Argolida, with a total eligible cost of 8.6 million euros and a total subsidized cost of 8.6 million euros.
11. Support for an investment plan of the company ALKYON, which refers to the establishment of a 4-star hotel in Koropi, Milia, South Pelion, with a total eligible cost of 1,913,521 euros and a total supported cost of 1,851,633.60 euros.
12. Support for an investment plan of the company CALISSA, which concerns the establishment of a 4-star hotel with a capacity of 84 beds in Gyros Pylareon, Kefalonia, with a total eligible cost of 5 million euros and a total supported cost of 5 million euros.
13. Support for an investment plan of the company PAPADIMITRIOU N PRIVATE CAPITAL COMPANY, which refers to the establishment of a 5-star hotel, at the location Axiopetras – Pyrgos, of Paleros Aktio-Vonitsa, with a total eligible cost of 3,450,279 euros and a total supported cost of 3,450,279 euros.
14. Support for an investment plan of the company 2PI INVESTMENTS S.A. which refers to the establishment of a 5-star hotel unit, with a capacity of 46 rooms and 99 beds in Kalathos, Lindos, Rhodes, with a total eligible cost of 6,113,430.48 euros and a total subsidized cost of 6,107,797.77 euros.
15. Support for an investment plan of the company WHITE OLIVE S.A., which concerns the establishment of a 4-star hotel in Pefkoi, Lindos, Rhodes, with a total eligible cost of 10.2 million euros and a total subsidized cost of 10.2 million euros.
16. Support for an investment plan of the company PITOULIS S.A. which concerns the modernization of a complete form of a 5-star hotel section, with a capacity of 105 rooms and 181 beds, located at 20 Ethnikis Antistasis Street in Sivota, with a total eligible cost of 2,080,000 euros and a total subsidized cost of 2,080,000 euros.
17. Support for an investment plan of the company ONIRO SKIATHOS TWO, which refers to the modernization of a complete form and upgrade to a 4-star category, with a final capacity of 60 rooms and 122 beds, of the SILVER BEACH hotel unit (photo) located at Strofylia-Koukounaries in Skiathos, with a total eligible cost of 2,250,000 euros and a total subsidized cost of 2,250,000 euros.
18. Support for an investment plan of the company FALIRAKI HOTEL COMPANY S.A., which concerns the modernization of an integrated hotel unit, with a capacity of 348 rooms and 696 beds, 5-star category, at FALIRAKI BEACH Faliraki, Kalythies in Kallithea, Rhodes, with a total eligible cost of 9,331,200 euros and a total supported cost of 9,331,200 euros.
19. Support for an investment plan of the company Gelasakis Shipping Agencies S.A. which concerns the establishment of a 4-star hotel unit, with a capacity of 11 rooms and 30 beds, in the old town of Chania at 17 Akti Kountourioti Street and 24 Zambeliou Street, with a total eligible cost of 1,346,357 euros and a total subsidized cost of 1,334,984.20 euros.
20. In addition to the Ministry of Development, the competent services of the Region of Central Macedonia decided to support an investment plan of the company F. ANGELAKOPOULOU A. ANGELAKOPOULOS OE, which refers to the modernization of a complete hotel unit and its upgrade to a 4-star category in Thessaloniki, with a total eligible and subsidized cost of 614,730.15 euros.
