A decision by the competent Directorate of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance determined the locations of the shoreline and public beach areas, which are permitted to be granted for simple use, exclusively through bidding electronic auctions to be carried out by the Ministry’s Land Services.
The electronic auction process, its general terms and conditions, and every necessary detail are regulated by a relevant decision of the Ministers of National Economy, Finance, and Digital Governance.
For beaches that have been classified as busy, the relevant Municipalities are obliged to hire the necessary number of lifeguards. Also, there is an obligation on the relevant Municipalities to install a special access platform for people with disabilities, if they are granted for simple use, following the completion of the bidding auction. The Land Services reserve the right to proceed with further concessions of parts of the seashore and beach.
The relevant decision with all the beaches, areas, types of use, and areas can be seen here
