Five new hotel investments in luxury units in Crete will receive subsidies.
Tornos News systematically monitors and publishes investments in the hotel sector that are supported either by decisions of the competent Directorate of the Ministry of Development or by the Regions of the country.
In detail, the business plans of the groups according to decisions of the General Directorate of Development Laws and Foreign Direct Investments of the Ministry of Development are as follows:
-Support for the investment plan of the company ASTERAS S.A. HOTEL TOURIST COMMERCIAL AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES with the distinctive title PILOT BEACH RESORT, which concerns the establishment of a 5-star hotel, classic type, with a capacity of 155 rooms and 278 beds in Georgioupolis, Chania, with a total eligible cost of 14,550,000 euros and a total subsidized cost of 12,761,812.98 euros.
-Support for the investment plan of the company IOANNIS ORFANAKIS- NIKOLAOS ORFANAKIS HOTEL – TOURIST – COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES S.A. with the distinctive title PORTO VILLAGE, which concerns the comprehensive modernization of the Porto Village hotel located in Korakia, Hersonissos, Heraklion, with a total eligible and supported cost of 1,800,000 euros.
-Support for the investment plan of the company PETRAKI AIKATERINI AND CO. E.E. concerning the establishment of a 4-star hotel of the furnished apartment type, with a capacity of 24 rooms and 72 beds at the location of Korakies Akrotiri in Chania, with a total eligible and subsidized cost of 2,148,394 euros.
-Support for an investment plan of the company LYRA IKE which refers to the establishment of a 5-star hotel, with a total capacity of 160 beds and 85 rooms at the location of Livadi or Stomia, outside the settlement of Kastellos, in Georgioupoli, Chania, with a total eligible cost of 9,030,261.10 euros and a total subsidized cost of 8,471,001.66 euros.
-Support for an investment plan of the company TERPSIS IKE, which concerns the establishment of a 4-star hotel with a capacity of 19 beds at 13 Nearchou Street in Chania, with a total eligible cost of 1,205,370.54 euros and a total supported cost of 1,194,254.85 euros.
