Prophitis Ilias, one of the most beautiful locations in Rhodes with a rich natural landscape
The investment of the company INTERPLAZA SA for the construction and operation of a complex tourist accommodation in Profitis Ilias, Rhodes, is on the path of consultation and opinion.
The Ministry of Environment and Energy forwarded the decision of the Regional Council of the South Aegean to transfer the above responsibilities to the competent Environment Committee of the Aegean Prefecture, so that the environmental assessment process can begin.
The investment is being developed on a land area of 263 acres and will include a main five-star hotel accommodation, with a capacity of 394 rooms and 1,050 beds. At the same time, it is planned to create 158 residences with 632 beds, a conference center for 2,500 delegates and a rejuvenation center as well as other accompanying service projects.
The field of the proposed complex tourist accommodation is located on the eastern coast of Rhodes, southeast of the settlement of Koskinou.
The main project is classified as tourist facilities and urban development projects, building sector, sports and recreation.
