Cyprus – Greece Business and Investment Forum

Cyprus and Greece are joining forces again to promote their business cooperation and to highlight their advantages in the economy and business. In this context, the competent bodies of the two countries are organizing on Thursday, October 9, from 10:00 to 18:00 the “Business and Investment Forum” at the Electra Palace Hotel in Athens.

The Forum, which is expected to gather a large number of participating businesses and conference participants, will focus on the modern sectors of investment, high technology, innovation and women’s entrepreneurship.

These sectors are important for both countries and their exploitation is sought for the new era in the economy and businesses of the two countries.

The Forum was held under the auspices of the First Lady of the Republic of Cyprus, Philippa Karsera Christodoulides, and invited to attend and speak were the Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry of Cyprus, Mr. G. Papanastasiou, the Minister of Development of Greece, Mr. Takis Theodorikakos, the President of Enteprise Greece, Mr. Dimitris Skalkos, the Ambassador of Cyprus to Greece, Mr. Stavros Avgoustides, the President of the CCCI, Mr. St. Stavrou, the President of the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Yiannis Bratakos, the Deputy Director of Invest Cyprus, Ms. Lia Riri, representatives of the Capital Market Commissions of the two countries, representatives of the Women’s Organizations of Cyprus and Greece, business executives from the two countries and others.

The event is organized by the CCCI, Invest Cyprus and Enterprise Greece and is supported by the Embassy of Cyprus in Athens, the Greek Women’s Union (EGE), the Cyprus Federation of Women Entrepreneurs Professionals BPW CYPRUS, and the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (ESEE).
