The Region of Western Macedonia will lease part of its area from the Pisoderi Forestry Cooperative for the upgrade of the Vigla Pisoderi Ski Center.
The duration of the contract has been set at 9 years. The granted area will be used exclusively for the operation of the Vigla Pisoderi Ski Center, as precisely specified by the approved terms and regulations of operation of the Center, exclusively in accordance with the approved uses of each separate space.
The rent was set at the amount of 15,000 euros for the first five years, which will be paid no later than within the first month of each lease year. The rent remains fixed for the first five years and then from the sixth lease year it is set at the amount of 20,000 euros and then increases by 3% annually unless this is less than the average annual inflation rate, in which case the latter applies as the increase rate. The rent is due in any case and regardless of the terms and the operator of the ski resort or the previous payment of any sublease.
The projects that are expected to be carried out, among others, to upgrade the operation and the services offered by the Ski Resort are as follows:
– Within five years, a complete renovation of the Administration building and its energy upgrade will be carried out in order to house administrative services, a clinic, etc.
– Within five years, a parking area will be developed near the base of the Pisoderi ski lift (Nick Kasomoulis Ski Lift), with an area in accordance with the specifications and needs for servicing the lift users, the restrictions arising from the terrain of the area and the development of road access to it. An independent ticket office or a special electronic equivalent will also operate at the base of the lift.
– Within five years, the development and delivery of a connecting road between the settlement of Pisoderi and the lift area operating at the base of the Pisoderi ski lift will proceed.
– Within one year, and within the framework of the development of the tourist promotion of the wider Pisoderi area, the placement of information signs will proceed at appropriate points.
