The decision to include and grant aid to the company “TOURISMA Hotel Tourism Enterprises S.A.” (distinguished title TOURISMA S.A.), which concerned the modernization investment of the Grecotel Mykonos Blu hotel in Platys Gialos, Mykonos, a 5-star category, is revoked.
The initial decision was issued in 2007 and provided for a total cost of 2,925,870 euros in aid, with approved public funding of 877,760 euros. Within the framework of this aid, an amount of 170,500 euros had already been paid as an advance payment.
However, according to the decision of the General Directorate of Development Laws and Foreign Direct Investments of the Ministry of Development (Official Gazette ADA: 680246ΝΛΞΞ-Ρ7Ν), the company did not complete the investment plan within the stipulated deadlines, resulting in the withdrawal of the grant.
This development is part of the controls carried out by the Ministry of Development for the observance of the schedules and terms of project financing, based on the current development law.
