The competent authorities have taken decisions for 3 hotels located in Chania, Corfu and Pyrgos in Ilia.
In detail, the Autonomous Department of Collective Bodies of the Region of Crete issued a positive opinion, subject to terms and conditions, on the Environmental Impact Study of a 444-bed, 5-star hotel located in the “Kaka Mouria” location, outside the settlement limits of the Kounoupidiana community, in Chania, Crete, owned by the company HB CRETE I S.A.
According to the Study, the hotel was built in 1993 and consisted of accommodation facilities with a total capacity of 290 beds with accommodation, catering, reception, sports, recreation areas, swimming pools, auxiliary areas, infrastructure and outdoor areas. At this stage, according to the content of the decision, the hotel is planned to be upgraded with the implementation of renovation and modernization projects of its buildings, the configuration of its outdoor areas, the construction of modern infrastructure projects of 5-star category, without the construction of new buildings.
Among other things, the hotel, which will operate seasonally, after its upgrade will consist of accommodation facilities with a total capacity of 444 beds, restaurants, bars, sports and wellness areas, swimming pools, recreation areas, auxiliary areas, green areas, as well as auxiliary infrastructure for its safe and orderly operation, such as roads, pedestrian areas, parking lots, sewage networks, water supply, irrigation, firefighting, electricity, telecommunications, etc.
The building department of the municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands granted a building permit concerning internal layouts, facade configuration and static reinforcement, addition of swimming pools and water features, as well as landscaping, in a hotel located in Molos in South Corfu, owned by of the company NUMO CORFU S.A.
The building department of the municipality of Pyrgos granted a building permit for internal renovation works of a room building of the ALDEMAR OLYMPIAN VILLAGE hotel on Miramare Beach in Pyrgos, Ilia, owned by the company E.P.T.E.A. S.A.
