Three Decisions of the Ministry of Development were published in the Official Gazette, extending the applications for the Development Law’s “Large Investments” and “Special Aid Areas” schemes.
Specifically, in the “Special Aid Areas” [1st Announcement of the Aid Scheme “Special Aid Areas Scheme” of Law 4887/2022] the application deadline is postponed to October 31, 2025, in order for productive entities to have the necessary time to submit all the required supporting documents.
In the “Large Investments” [1st Announcement of the “LARGE INVESTMENTS” Aid Scheme of the development law 4887/2022 (A’ 16)], applications are extended until 31 December 2025, in order to facilitate the completion of the files by the entities of large-scale investment projects.
In addition, the new Decisions provide that the regular on-site audit for investment projects of more than €700,000 is carried out by a Certified Auditor – Accountant or an auditing company selected by the entity of the investment project from members of the Public Registry of article 14 of law 4449/2017 (A’ 7).
For investment projects of less than or equal to €700,000, the regular on-site audit is carried out by the EFEPAE.
For all investment projects, regardless of amount, the extraordinary on-site audit is carried out by an authorized audit body which is composed of members of the National Register of Certified Auditors (NRCA) of article 120 of law 4887/2022 or otherwise by the service.
