The competent authorities have taken decisions for 6 hotels located in Heraklion, Katerini, Rhodes, Ermionida, Glyka Nera and Itilo in Mani.
In detail:
The Environment and Spatial Planning Committee of the Region of Crete gave a positive opinion on the Environmental Impact Study concerning the renewal of the decision to approve the environmental conditions of the project entitled “Existing Hotel Unit with a capacity of 610 beds, 4-star category, in the location of Anissaras, Municipality of Hersonissos, under the name CRETAN VILLAGE owned by the company MITSIS COMPANY S.A.”, under terms and conditions.
The building department of the municipality of Katerini granted a small-scale building permit for the change of use of the ground floor of a hotel located in Paralia tis Katerini, into a health care store and interior design, owned by Mr. Kotsios Emmanouil.
The building department of the municipality of Rhodes granted a small-scale building permit for interior design at the hotel STELLA ZIAKI S.A. located in Rhodes, leased by the company FILIMON TOURISM AND HOTEL COMPANY S.A.
The building department of the municipality of Ermionida granted a building permit for the legalization of the basements of the hotel HYDRA BEACH located in Plepi, Thermisia, owned by the company HYDRA BEACH S.A.
The building department of the municipality of Moschato-Tavros has granted a small-scale building permit for the renovation of a 6-storey building and a roof located in the Glyka Nera or Madeira area, as well as a change of use from a hotel to apartments, owned by the company ANDLEU PARTNERS IKE and other shareholders.
The municipality of Eastern Mani has issued a positive opinion on the Environmental Impact Study, under terms and conditions, of the project concerning the operation of a hotel type of furnished apartments, A’ class, 4-star category, with a capacity of 71 beds, located at the location of “Agia Sotira” outside the boundaries of the settlement of “Kafiona” in Itilo, Eastern Mani, owned by the company GIANNAROS AXKETE.
Among other things, the decision states that this investment upgrades tourism and the wider area, upgrades not only the settlement of “Kafiona” of the Dryalo Community in Itilo, but also offers an upgraded tourism product that helps the area, offers jobs to the local community, upgrades the tourism product, increases the Municipality’s revenue and protects the area and the environment from all that is planned to be implemented based on the Environmental Impact Study of this company.
