Proathonikos Tourism Organization in cooperation with the Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT) office in Italy and the Mount Athos Area KOUZINA organized a Grecian gastronomy event in Milan’s Kitchen Loft.
The event included a demonstration of Grecian gastronomy, with delectable athonite wines from Metochi Chromitsa and flavorsome dishes accompanying discussion of the beautiful landscapes that make up Halkidiki’s third peninsula Mount Athos Area, in what was a magical night.
More than 60 representatives of Italian press and travel agencies had the opportunity to tour the set, try their hand at crafting Asia Minor delights through an engaging presentation and a live demonstration of the art of the athonite cuisine by local housekeepers.
The event also included a presentation of cruises around Mount Athos Gulf, sailing excursions, diving, fishing, and water sports along the 300 kilometers long Athos peninsula coastline, as part of an integrated marine tourism program in eastern Halkidiki.
