Renowned Parisian brothels transformed into romantic hotels

Renowned Parisian brothels have been transformed into luxury hotels, according to a Sun newspaper report.

Once houses of ill repute, the brothels have been given amazing make-overs, the buildings now transformed into perfect, romantic getaways.

Guests can now pay by the hour for the decadent rooms – which still pay tribute to their former use.

One of the residences, The Hotel Grand Amour, features rooms decorated with cheeky boob and bum wallpaper.

Another hotel, Hotel Amour, is kitted out with 19th century oil paintings of topless prostitutes – it also boasts “erotically-themed bedrooms”.

The hotels offer the perfect escape for couples wanting to get intimate during a day trip to the city of romance.

Five-star getaway

Another of the ex-brothels is the Maison Souquet, which has been converted into a five-star getaway with rooms starting from £230 a night.

Each of Maison Souquet’s rooms is named after the woman who used to run it and the erotic hotel also boasts a dimly-lit spa complete with swimming pool – which can be booked out for private use.

Manager of another converted hotel Grand Pigalle, Valeriya Savehuk said: “We get a lot of honeymooners from abroad.

“Our clients are also Parisian couples taking a break from their children, or hipsters – you know, young men with stubble and Apple Macs.

“They are drawn by the exotic reputation of Pigalle”.
