The most popular destination for Valentine’s Day for 2017 seems to be London followed closely by Rome, Milan, Amsterdam and Berlin. According to the relevant data, Paris -a classic destination for this day- is in the 10th position this year.
The data are drawn from the bookings in “airtickets.gr”, according to which this year 18% more travelers than last year chose to go by plane with their better half to the destination of their liking.
The prices of airline tickets have gone down by 9,5% compared with 2016. Prices for couples between February 10th to 16th are 190 Euros on average for return tickets. According to “airtickets.gr”, the lowest price is 24 Euros for Sofia, while the highest one is 1.943 Euros for Rio de Janeiro.
The data corresponds to booking made until 09/02/2017 for departures from February 10-16 2017.
