The island of Patmos bets on the sports tourism to boost its tourism trend.
In this context it organises the Patmos Revelation that will take place on the island between 30 June and 2 July.
According to the announcement, athletes from all over Greece and abroad have already confirmed their participation.
The municipality of Patmos in cooperation with the Southern Aegean Region and Active Media aim to promote the sports tourism element and to attract tourists that will participate in the event and in parallel will get acquainted with the history of the island.
Top Greek athletes as World Champion in Athletics and Olympic Champion in 400m hurdles Periklis Iakovakis will participate in the event.
